A-Typical Taxidermy My name is Jimmy and after a lifetime of hunting and fishing I decided to get into taxidermy. I took a taxidermy class at Surry Community College in Yadkinville NC, Just north of Winston-Salem. I trained for over a year under the instruction of Rick Robson who has been in taxidermy for 30 years. I have now opened my own taxidermy studio in Yadkinville NC. I only use the best available materials for all the trophies I do. I never use dry preserve, which used to be common practice by many taxidermist.
