When usually do bucks lose their antlers? and when do they start to regrow them? interested to know this

it differs, in the south some deer won't lose them until mid april, in the far north some lose them in late january. A good general rule is around march. If you're looking to scout for antler sheds, then find the perfect 2 weeks from when the snow is melted, and the leaves aren't on the trees yet. This is a good time to find them.

i don't know when they start to grow, but they start lose them
in Jan. hope this helps

Hello David. As far as I have read, they loose their antlers in middle March or something like this. The antlers will then start to grow again and will be visible again sometime in May.
