Never did this before, but am thinking of doing it sometime. And I want to be prepared with a lot of info for when I decide to do it. So please let me know your opinion about this.

Wouldn't use a rifle, 12 gauge shotgun would be my choice.

first I wouldn't use a rifle i would use a shotgun. and i would use a Remington 870 pump 12 g with at least #2 shot.

take atleast a 20 gauge in my opinion preferably a 12 gauge with 4 shot for ducks and for geese atleast 2 shot

you use a shot gun either a 12 gauge 20 gauge or 4-10 most use a 12 they have good nock down power hope this helps
