Hi, I'm looking to buy a shotgun for duck hunting and im thinking of the remington 870 wingmaster with a gloss finish. I am wondering if the gloss will make a difference, also what do you think of this gun for duck/goose hunting? This gun it at the max in my price range.

Hello Keeffer. I don't think that the gloss finish will make a difference, however I've heard from many experienced hunters that it isn't recommended to have a shotgun with a gloss finish because it reflects the sun rays, making you more detectable. I'd recommend a plum color.

As far as the shotgun is concerned, I totally recommended as it is one of the best ( if not the best ) duck shotgun available.

Hope this helps.
